    Guild Tournaments

Post by morilea on Wed Sep 23, 2009 7:25 am

As configured, The Round Table is a non-warring guild, and therefore cannot compete in the new guild tournaments.

At this point, I do not intend, expect, or even recommend changing our
non-war status in order to compete. However, this is The Round Table,
    where everyone's opinion counts.

Note that winning guilds not only get a chance to purchase items from the Guild Item Merchant NPC in Roumen; but, they also split the pot of registration fees. Registration is 10g per guild, non-refundable; so, if 30 guilds sign up (we're currently ranked in the top 50, iirc), all 300gold becomes the prize money, even tho only 16 guilds are able to compete.

I don't know what types of items can be purchased from the npc, but I'd be interested in finding that out.

Daev and Mo, do you guys remember which char is GM of The_Round_Table? (T_R_T was TRT's old warring guild alt)

    Talk to meh.

q.q That made me blush right there. Seriously <3

I'll go stalk Mo and Daev. They're bound to pop up in MSN.

It'll be a complet waste of gold.

Think about it, even if the SC items are disabled during the tournament, you'll compet against guilds like Rye, Paradise, CK, WC, etc

Those avec 90+ members, TRT is no match against those guys.

Capture the flag is a PvP game, it'll be like trying to get oustide FBZ1 alive during last X-mas -_-

I'm with Honoured Little One on this one: there is no way TRT can currently compete with the likes of those guilds she mentions. Admittedly, those guilds have a fair amount of high-level noobs, but even so, a 6x or 7x skilled player is still no match for a dekked out 9x noob. That's just the way it is.

However, I'm sure there will be a certain amount of fun to be had (along with a healthy dose of drama! ), so if you want, I'll make you master of the old T_R_T as well. I think one of my alt cleric chars is currently master there.

    ps:
    I MISS YOU ALL!
Hugs and kisses to everyone, and special hugs to Lady Boots for taking care of TRT so well.

    pps:
Lady Boots, please sign up on MSN so we can chat. I really really really miss your regular wise words and occasional eccentricity (or is that occasional wise words and regular eccentricity? )

Well, you guys could join me on WoW instead of continuing to give money to a failing game like Fiesta...

Even americans can play on the EU servers, so localisation is no problem...
